Lattice work and mirror mosaics adorn the interiors of the Fort. The living areas are synonymous with hospitality. All the rooms and suites have been exquisitely laid out for the connoisseurs’ refined eye.
Many fine elements of the original designs have been preserved, including the Art-Deco style and mirror mosaics. The luxurious deluxe rooms, some of them carved out of nine-foot thick walls, overlooking a cosy lawn and a typically Indian courtyard have intricate frescos hand painted on their ceilings.
The distinct decor and furniture of every room mocks at the dull uniformity of assembly-line interior design, so unfortunately familiar today. Yet, the Fort, managed by dedicated professionals, boasts of all modern amenities like attached bathrooms with hot and cold water, telephone and CTV to make your stay comfortable.
